Amber McCue, OwnerI'm Amber McCue, an EFM of 6+ years and the owner of U.S. History Worldwide, the online history program for expat kids.
I am an EFM currently living in (and loving) Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire. Before Abidjan, we had the pleasure of being in Addis Ababa Ethiopia and had two US assignments. Growing up, I spent four years living in Saudi Arabia - 2nd grade through 6th. I look back on that experience fondly and my husband and I were also excited to share a life abroad with our kids! We have three daughters. Two who are here at post with us and one who recently graduated from UCSB and is now living in San Diego. I love our country, and love helping Foreign Service kids develop their patriotism, too, as they learn U.S History! I can’t wait for YOUR child to join this program! |
Brittany Conrad, TeacherHello! My name is Brittany Conrad. My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 12 years and have three children, Chloe, Lila, and Oliver. I have been teaching in either public or private education, since I graduated from Illinois State University with my bachelor's as a Learning and Behavioral Specialist Pre-k-12. After graduating, I worked as a public-school teacher at Coal City Intermediate school, until I had my second daughter in 2016. While working in Coal City, I went back to school at night and earned a masters from Olivet Nazarene University as a Reading Specialist K-12. In 2016, I entered an online job with a photography company working in production, customer service, and scheduling, as well as continuing to teach as a substitute teacher. In 2020, when my oldest daughter began kindergarten, I began my homeschooling journey, and soon after opened a tutoring business. My favorite thing to teach is reading, which can easily integrate all the other subjects! In my free time, you can find me spending as much time as possible with my family and friends, reading, running Ragnars or 5ks, hiking trails, or leading a Girl Scout troop. I am so excited to work with the US History World Wide team to continue educating our youth!
